Comedian Dipoo Shrivastav

Dipoo Srivastav is a comedy superstar in the making. A true challenger among others as it was seen in the Great Indian Laughter Challenge. Dipoo is the younger brother of one of the best Laughter Champion today, Mr. Rraju Shrivastava. Dipoo is not just a stand-up comedian but also a Television and Film Artist. He has worked on TV in Laughter challenge, Dhamal No.1, Funjabi Chak De, Nonsense Unlimited, Comedy Ka Badshah and many other comedy programmes. And Dipoo Shrivastava is going to enter the film industry with the comedy film Meri Padosan &Hello Darling  in which he is working with Javed Jaffery, Isha Koppikar, Gul Panag and Sunil Pal. The film is made by Mukta Arts.  One more feather of success has been added to his cap as he recently acquired a role in Sunil Pal’s out and out comedy film“Bhawnao Ko Samjho” The best part is all well-known standup comedian are part of this film.

Dipoo was bought up in a family where comedy was taken seriously. Dipoo took a flair for comedy after following the footsteps of his brother. Infact Dipoo takes Raju Shrivastava as his teacher, inspiration and idol. Dipoo Shrivastava is from Kanpur. He started his career in Kanpur by doing stage shows from the year 1996. Later he came to Mumbai in 1998 and with the blessings of his brother went ahead with his career in comedy. After this Dipoo was seen in shows like Comedy ka Badshah on Sony and Funjabi Chak De on Star One.

Dipoo’s comedy is more on current topics, scenarios and situations. Like his brother. Dipoo has not just done shows in India but also abroad. Dipoo Shrivastava has performed in countries like Dubai, Muscat, Singapore, Fiji, Nepal and Mauritius. He has performed more than 400 shows overall.
