Words will end but emotions won’t because it’s time to forget all your worries, problems, stress, animosity and tension. It’s time for fun. It’s time for celebrations. Celebrations = Diwali. It not only tries to illuminate the outer world but at the same time lights our soul and makes it fresh.

There are lots of reasons that people celebrate this festival. It comes with a long history. But the main catch reason is like you all know; it is celebrated as Lord Rama returned to Ayodhya from his 14 years long exile. Infact each of the four days has its separate tale and each has its own significance.

From cleaning houses to buying new clothes to bursting crackers, every single activity is done with utter gusto and eagerness. And who forgets food? If Badam Phirni is on one side, then Gulab Janum on other. Peda, Besan ke Ladoo, Jalebi, Rasmalai and almost every sweet which any Mithaiwala would possess are center of attractions.

There is also a tradition of gambling on Diwali days. It is believed that on this day, Goddess Parvati played dice with her husband Lord Shiva, and she decreed that whosoever gambled on Diwali night would prosper throughout the ensuing year.

Information is never-ending and so are the moments that these days fill our lives with. The more happiness you give, the more happiness you get. So forget all the sorrows, hug each other, feed some sweets and wish Happy Diwali.
