Dec 13, 2018Continuing with the series of Big Fat Indian Weddings, is the grand wedding of Industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani and billionaire industrialist Anand Piramal which was held at the Ambani residence Antilia in Mumbai on December 12. The venue was lavishly decorated as Isha’s brothers Anant and Akash, father Mukesh and uncle Anil welcomed the baaraat.

Isha Ambani & Anand Piramal’s Wedding Venue – Antilia
The 27-storey building, said to be the costliest private residence in the world, was lit up in fairy lights and was a sight to behold. Not only this, the road leading to the venue also came to life with elaborate flower decorations on the trees and roadside. Huge bells decorated with yellow and orange marigold flowers were put up across the road.
A special grand entrance was built at the gate for the occasion decorated with red flowers and artificial pink walls. The entire open space inside the residence had been covered with an unending series of bright lights.

Isha and Anand had a traditional Gujarati Wedding Ceremony. Isha wore an off white lehenga with green embroidery paired with simple makeup. Anand coordinated his outfit with Isha’s.

December 12’s ceremony also saw people like former President of India Pranab Mukherjee, former US First Lady Hillary Clinton, Bollywood stars Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, Amitabh Bachchan and his family, Sachin Tendulkar and his family and other VIP guests at Antilia.
The Engagement of Isha Ambani & Anand Piramal at Lake Como Italy
The festivities began weeks ago, starting in September with an engagement party at a lakeside Italian palace.
The Villa d’Este where the engagement took place overlooks Lake Como. It is also known as one of the most romantic properties in Italy.
The 3 day affair was packed with welcome lunches and dance-filled dinners to celebrate the couple. Each night had its own theme from a black-tie event to chic to Indian attire.
Isha Ambani’s Pre Wedding at Udaipur
Over the weekend, thousands attended the pre-wedding parties in Udaipur, From Mukesh and Nita Ambani dancing on the tunes of Jab Tak Hai Jaan to Isha and Anand giving a sizzling performance on Mitwa, the sangeet ceremony was full of love and emotions under the starry Udaipur sky.
Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s pre-wedding festivities saw the biggest of names in Udaipur to join the celebrations, including American pop sensation Beyonce. Supposedly Isha is a big fan of Beyonce (well, who isn’t) and her daddy dearest went ahead and made this happen! And it cost him a whopping INR 15 crore.
Beyonce donned two stunning dresses by ace-Indian designers Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and Falguni and Shane Peacock for her performances.
Well well, while these pictures are totally melting our hearts, and we can surely say “yeh dil mange more”!
