Blue Frog, Lower Parel

Located on Senapati Bapat Marg, Lower Parel, Blue Frog is one of the most happening places and plays host to a lot of national and international artists. The 6000 sq.ft club has an innovative pod seating arrangement which is often featured as one of the best seating designs of the world. It has a well stocked bar and has a live kitchen which serves modern European food. The club also has four state of the art music recording studios, artist management services and a music production house for all the budding music artists. It’s a really nice place to unwind without being overly expensive.

 

Bonobo, Bandra West

This is a jungle themed lounge bar in the queen of the suburbs, Bandra. It is actually named after an ape found in the Congo area of

Africa. It is definitely a jungle themed lounge but it doesn’t try too hard to be one. So you can be sure that it’s definitely not one of those tacky theme places from where you would want to run away. It is located on the busy Bandra linking road right opposite to Mc Donald’s.  The lounge is divided into two sections; the outdoor one is without the aircon and the indoor one is air conditioned. Cocktail lovers will love this place as the bartenders there create one of the best mixes in town. The food is majorly Mediterranean and the food menu is interestingly divided into the herbivore and carnivore sections.  Late goers please beware as this place gets pretty packed up after 10.30-11PM especially on weekends.

 

Aer Lounge, Worli

Posh and swank are probably the best words to describe this place. Nestled on the 34^th floor of the Four seasons hotel in Worli, this lounge offers an unparallel, unrestricted and the best view any lounge or bar can offer in Mumbai. It throws up a very sophisticated atmosphere with white sofas, lots and lots of mirrors, and minimalistic furniture. Along with Mumbai’s best view, Aer also offers a good range of Lebanese and Mediterranean food fare.  They have a fully stocked and extensive bar counter and it also has a cigar menu for all cigar fans. This lounge will be slightly heavy on the pockets but every penny that you spend here is worth the experience.

 

Wink, Cuffe Parade

This is a very happening bar at the Taj Vivanta, Cuffe Parade. It’s happening and sometimes a bit too loud for conversations because of the high energy music that keeps up the tempo of this place high. This is also one of the best places to drink in Mumbai because of its huge international and exclusive collection of spirits. Being in a 5 star hotel, even this lounge is slightly on the higher side but it’s a worthy spend for liquor lovers.
