Isn’t that a million dollar question? After all, choosing the right venue for the event is such a tedious task! Be it a wedding reception, office conference, house party or birthday party, we’ve all in some part of our lives struggled to find that perfect venue. Haven’t we? but not anymore!

Follow our expert’s guide and discover the petty things one must consider while booking a venue:

Firstly, Always Have a Plan

PlanningYou do not want to overshoot your budget, so it would be ideal to make a plan and divide the budget as per the event needs.
Remember: Good planning always leads to successful parties.

Second, Select a Commuter-friendly Venue.

It’s ideal to select a venue that your guests are aware of. Re-routing your guests to a location they are not familiar, might lead to unnecessary confusion.
Keep it local and commuter-friendly as possible.

Third, Keep Track of The Weather.

bad weatherWhy weather, you might ask? Well, bad weather can be the biggest spoilsport sometimes. Issues like water-logging, a windy situation for outdoor events or bad air conditioning can undoubtedly make your guests go red with anger. Something that you definitely wouldn’t want right?
After all, keeping your guests happy is the sole purpose of the event.

Fourth, venue Inspection is a must.

Though you trust your event organizers, drop in for a few minutes and make sure the venue wouldn’t be a problem for your guests. And by a ‘problem’, we mean your attendees could be from different age groups. For example, in the case of a children’s party, you do not want harmful objects around which could lead to accidents or other grave situations.
A perfect venue is everything that makes the guests feel special and comfortable at the same time.

Fifth, double-check the required Facilities.

The last and the most important one of all. Make sure all the facilities you require for your event is available at the venue. Be it cable outlets for a conference, wheelchair accessibility, clean lavatories or even, valet parking!
It’s better to be safe than embarrassed later.

Trust us, you don’t want your guests in a foul mood before they attend your event. Be smart, be cautious and let not these petty things keep your event from being perfect. If you are looking for a corporate party venue, click here.
