BookEventz Celebrated Women’s Day at various Central Malls in Mumbai

This women’s day, BookEventz decided to celebrate it in a peculiar and fun way. We celebrated the women’s day in four Central Malls all around Mumbai – Vashi, Dahisar, Goregaon, and Vikhroli.

We organised a bunch of events and games to make this women’s day solemnly about women, we named it ‘SheShinesCelebrations’.

Our effort was appreciated and was successful all over Mumbai. A lot of couples not only participated but enjoyed the women’s day with BookEventz.

See down below, the fun and happiness on the faces of our contestants.

We organized a lot of events and games like –

Paper Dance.

Couples grooved with each other on a paper to try to win. They had to dance for 30 seconds then fold the paper in half, then dance for 30 seconds more. If they stepped off the paper, they lost. Only one couple won but everyone enjoyed and made memories. They had a lot of fun on this women’s day.

Balloon Game

We asked two contestants to blow up as many balloons as they could in a minute. Then we had them race over a short distance against each other with two balloons tied to their feet. Participants seemed to enjoy our little game too much. No, they didn’t actually say it but we could tell by looking at their laughing red faces. This was an amazing women’s day for them.

Instant Photography

We installed a photography booth at three of our celebration sites – Vashi, Goregaon, and Dahisar. We clicked their pictures and offered them a printed one instantly. This was our most engaged-with event this women’s day. See some of those pictures down below.

Photography Contest.

This was an exciting contest. We asked our contestants to click a picture with Bookeventz Photo Frame and upload it to their social media account and tag BookEventz. The picture with the most likes wins. Our contestants seemed eager to participate and excited when sharing the pictures on social media. You can see their excitement in the pictures. They really had a happy women’s day.

The Spoon Game

We asked our contestants to pour a bowl full of ‘Rajma’ into another bowl but with the spoon holding in their mouth. All of us laughed when they tried, failed and tried again. This women’s day was going to be their most memorable one.

Paper Toss

This is the game everyone is familiar with. This is what we call mini-basketball. This women’s day, we saw a lot of happy, cheered up faces as they tried to score a basket in our paper toss games. Women were just as competent as men.

Handbag Queen

Handbag Queen was solemnly about women. We asked the men to name all the things in the women’s bag. The one to name all things accurately wins. This was to make men appreciate women and acknowledge their daily struggles and day-to-day lives. After all, it was women’s day indeed.

Challenge Your Memory

We placed certain things of daily use on a plate for 30 seconds in front of our contestants and then later asked them to name all the things without looking just by their memory. Our participants struggled to remember all the things and everybody enjoyed their day and had fun in our SheShinesCelebration. We wished them all a Happy Women’s Day.

This Women’s Day, BookEventz tried to send a message, that women are just as capable as men as we witnessed they not only challenged men in every game but also won. Since the day was about women we tried to make it more and more for them. We want everybody to appreciate the importance of women in creating our present and our future.

women's day.

In the end, we want to quote some famous women. Let’s see what they have to say for their kind.

“Think like a queen. A queen is not afraid to fail. Failure is another stepping-stone to greatness.”—Oprah Winfrey, American media executive, actress, talk show host, television producer, and philanthropist.

“I don’t mind living in a man’s world as long as I can be a woman in it.”—Marilyn Monroe, American actress.

“Emancipation of women has made them lose their mystery.”— Grace Kelly, actress and Princess of Monaco.

So make a difference, think globally and act locally!
Make everyday International Women’s Day.
Do your bit to ensure that the future for girls is bright, equal, safe and rewarding.

Again, a bucket full of gratitude to all those people and especially women who participated and made this day and our effort a success.

Thank You.
