We all have a special place in our hearts for our Alma Mater and the thought of going back to it energises us to a great extent. Catching up with old friends and meeting teachers always bring up nostalgia and golden memories. Recently, we got the pleasure of organizing an Alumni Meet for NICMAR.

The Story Of NICMAR

The National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR), is a premium institute for the promotion of training, research, professionalism and skill formation at all levels of the construction and other allied industries. It was registered as a Public Trust in 1982 and has since grown by leaps and bounds.

The Venue – Sahara Star Banquet Hall Mumbai

The venue provided by BookEventZ, Sahara Star is located very close to the International Airport, making it easily reachable for the Global Alumni of NICMAR. Also, it is located on the fast-moving Western Express highway. It is a flagship venue of BookEventZ.

Exterior View

The bird’s eye view of the venue is a sight to behold. It has a large star in the middle with a futuristic spaceship-like design. The entrance is over-the-top and grand.

 

Interior View

The insides of Sahara Star pleasant and welcoming. A variety of plant life and an oasis-like setting makes the guests cheerfully surprised.



 

The Jade Ballroom, Sahara Star

The Jade Ballroom has a pleasant ambience which is perfect for corporate events. it has wooden panelling and soft carpeting which creates a relaxed environment. The Accent lighting can be customised up to the mood of the event.

The Conclave

The evening began with the customary lighting of the lamp. The lighting and interiors of the Jade Ballroom helped create an environment of jovial warmth. The audience listened with rapt attention as the eminent speakers talked about Leadership.

The Professors gave their presentations using the State-of-the-Art Conference equipment.  It was an engaging conference with the participants and the presenters given ample time and space to conduct their discussions.

 

 

The Booths

The floorplan was designed in such a way that a separate space for corporate booths could be placed. The booth managers found the area to be sufficient for all marketing activities.

 

The Memory Wall

An area to record messages was created in order to aid the Alumni and Professors to share emotional memories. The Alumni also took selfies with their favourite messages.

The Food

We often overlook the fact that cooking is a heady mix of art and science, but luckily the chefs at the Sahara Star don’t! The delicious preparation of multi-cuisine gourmet food, which is prepared with extreme care, was relished by one and all.
