UrbanRestro Presents Bar-o-Scope @ Grillopolis

The bar has become an integral part of today’s restaurant outing.  In fact a lot of us check out for the bar counter first before actually choosing a restaurant to dine.  There are a lot of places in the city which are actually more known for the drinks that they serve.  So how do you know or decide a good place to drink? The first is obviously the choice of drinks that they have and the second and the very important one is, The Bartender who is in charge of the drinks.  The bartender is the one who maintains the bar in terms of the inventory to be kept in the bar and he is also the one who decides the mix of drinks that he needs to serve in order to keep his customers happy.

We have had a lot of customers who ask us about how to know which drink is the best and how the drinks are made, how and why does a bartender juggle bottles etc. So we thought why not have a get together for all the people who want to learn and explore more about Bartending from the expert himself! So here we are with our very first big event at Grillopolis, Andheri West on the 25^th of May 2013 for all you fans of alcohol. This will be bartending workshop by the in house Bartender of Grillopolis who will give you a real feel about what it takes to be a good bartender. This workshop will give you a basic but hands on insight about what bartending is all about. We have planned a lot of interesting activities for all the participants, some of them (we will be adding more to the list) are  the basics of cocktail making, beverage appreciation, understanding, the myth, the do’s and the don’ts of alcohol etc. Apart from the theoretical session, we will also have a session where you can yourself try your hand at making interesting cocktail and mocktail recipes.
