In later stages, as the spot applied, was not that exciting thus to beautify it, further designs were introduced. Lately, it was associated with various auspicious rituals of varied cultures across the globe. It is believed that this art form has begun from the Middle East. The color of mehndi varies from light orange shade to dark brownish shade. Mehndi is the paste made up of Henna leaves, which are dried and purified before making the paste. The color of the mehndi post applying depends on various aspects like that of quality of mehndi used, applying lemon syrup with sugar and duration of removing after it is dried.
