Ambrosia is a respected 25 yr old magazine focussed on the alcohol and beverage industry.  Recently it held the prestigious Ambrosia Awards function and IndSpirit Conference 2019 on 28th February – 1st March 2019 which was organised by BookEventZ. The event included a Book Launch on the first day, an award show, an industry-specific conference and a gala dance performance show.

1. The Venue

The venue chosen by Ambrosia was the Leela Ambience, Gurugram. The Leela has spacious banquets which are suitable for all types of events. 2. The Entrance

As they say, the first impression is the last impression and BookEventZ decorators left no stone unturned with respect to decorating its entrance. The banquet has a well-lit entrance and event specific standees with cheerful messages were erected to create a joyous environment. A registration desk is of the utmost importance for any corporate event and it was installed in addition to the branded backdrop. Registration staff was also provided which is necessary to greet the attendees and sort out their queries skillfully.

 

3. The Stage & Backdrop

The creation of the stage for any event needs planning and immense attention to detail so that the program can be run as smoothly as possible. A beautiful backdrop was created in order to display the event details nicely. A LED backdrop was also arranged to support the dance performances and the award ceremony. The traditional ‘lighting of the lamps’ ceremony was also arranged on the spectacular stage which gave an invigorating touch to the start of the event. Anchors were also provided by BookEventZ to facilitate the running of the event.

4. The Performances

The dance performances were enjoyed by one and all as they were well choreographed and wonderfully executed. Three types of dance routines were presented. The first was a fusion of Ballet, Contemporary and Hip-hop. This kind of fusion routines is highly popular with the younger crowd. Next was the mystical ‘Dance of Isis Wings’. This dance signifies the renewal, positivity and growth. The last performance was the ‘Dance of a 1000 Hands’. This form of dance is popular in Southeast Asian cultures and tells stories of divine Goddesses.

5. The Awards

The Ambrosia Awards Show is greatly prestigious and was held with all the pomp and show it deserves. The show was aided with light and synchronised musical effects which made it spectacular and engaging. The winners of the various awards were impressed by the cheerful ambience created and jubilantly participated in the show.

6. The Booths

Adequate space was provided for the marketing booths for the events. The guests really appreciated the way the event was designed and the way space was utilised. They enjoyed going about the area and conducting their business dealings in a relaxed environment.  

7. The Food

An intercontinental spread was arranged by the contracted caterer and was highly loved by the participants of the event.
